Senior Quantity Surveyor / Estimator

We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Estimator who wants to make a meaningful impact, work on high-profile projects, and advance into a leadership role as the company continues to grow. Our projects are based in the greater Dublin Area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commercially manage several projects in the greater Dublin Area.

  • Commercial advice to Directors, Contracts Managers and the site management team.

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for tenders.

  • Weekly Site Visits.

  • Responsible for the timely processing of interim monthly applications for payment under the conditions of the contract.

  • Procurement of sub-contractors, processing of monthly payments, obtaining final account agreements and resolving disputed issues by negotiation.

  • Timely production of monthly costs, cash flows, and cost valuation reports.

  • Monthly project status reviews with the Commercial Manager and Directors.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience.

  • Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or a similar discipline.

  • Strong commercial acumen and excellent communication skills.

  • Enthusiastic, motivated individual with the ability to work both individually and as part of the Commercial Team.

  • Proven track record in delivering projects within budget from the tender stage to the final account.

  • Familiar with Construction contracts.

  • Excellent computer skills and familiarity with Conquest, Buildsoft, Cubit, and Procore (or similar).

JUNIOR HEALTH & SAFETY OFFICER

We are seeking to recruit a Junior Health & Safety Officer. The successful candidate will work closely with our Health & Safety Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to broaden their skills and experience.

The role will involve regular visits to various sites in the greater Dublin Area.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver Site Inductions and Toolbox Talks.

  • Management of site H&S documentation, including site training records, machinery certification, and other statutory H&S records.

  • Conduct risk assessments and complete Method Statements.

  • Liaise with Site Managers to ensure compliance with current H&S statutory requirements and the Company’s procedures.

  • Conduct site safety audits.

  • Actively promote H&S culture.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A third-level qualification in Health & Safety.

  • Preferably 1-3 years of experience in the Construction Industry, not essential.

  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent computer skills.

  • Full driving licence.
