Client: Gannon Homes

This project included 42-acre housing and apartment development on a steeply inclined site overlooking the Malahide estuary. A major part of the works involved the excavation and removal of 308,000m3 of material to the adjacent lands for the re-development of the Robswall parkland, controlling the surface water run-off during excavations and creating silt settling ponds before water entered the sea.

Site development works included all site roads, groundworks, car parking, foundations and floor slabs, public paths, hard and soft landscaping and fencing formed part of the works.

The project also involved a major cut-and-fill operation at 50-acre parkland at Robswall. This development consisted of 2 full-size GAA pitches with all associated drains and landscaping works. A boundary wall and railing of approx. 1 km was also erected.
